Governor Strickland in running for re-election, he is a democrat, he is a very strong ally in our community. With all that I just said, the most important reason this site is endorsing the Governor is his choice for his running mate(Lt. Governor) Ms. Yvette Mc Ghee-Brown!

I met Ms. Brown last Tuesday at a lunch she held to get thoughts on OUR issues. She took time to listen to EVERYTHING we had to say. She was engaging and attentive. From the moment I was introduced to her,she made me feel like this is the woman, I want my young nieces to be like. She is a lawyer and a judge, her resume is impressive. But that isn't what impressed me the most about her. I m having difficulty in figuring out exactly what it is that impresses me. All I know is that I left that lunch vowing to do ANY AND EVERYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO HELP RE-ELECT TED STRICKLAND AND YVETTE MC GHEE-BROWN!
